Quality Chandler Chiropractic Care
For the past 30 years, Dr. Chris Komarnisky has used Chiropractic, Active Release Technique (A.R.T.), and other active therapies to help patients from all walks of life recover from a variety of physical injuries. Low back pain, sciatica pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, golfer/tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, and more.
The long-term nature and effects of these disorders can weigh severely on your general health and ability to function in your day-to-day activities. Your family, your job, play sports, work out, or even your ability to simply enjoy your life. This can all be compromised with one of these common maladies.
Chiropractic adds nothing and removes nothing. It repairs the function of the mechanisms of the body whereby the body is able to heal itself. Healing happens no other way. Not from a pill or potion or injection. Healing comes from the inside out, not the outside in. It’s from you, the inherent recuperative powers of your own body not from a drug.
How Does Chiropractic Treatment Work?
Many of our patients ask how can the same chiropractic treatment used to effectively treat their back pain will also improve their health? The answer can be found by looking into the relationship between your spine and your nervous system.
Your nervous system coordinates the voluntary and involuntary actions while transmitting signals between different parts of your body. In this, your nervous system is the controller of all living cells, tissues, organs, and coordinates all cellular functions. The spinal column encases the nervous system (spinal cord and nerve roots) for its protection.
If you suffer from structural problems in the spinal column (a car accident, a sudden shift of vertebrae, overuse of your back, etc.) you can irritate parts of the enclosed nervous system. This common irritation can result from noxious inflammatory biochemicals released during tissue injury or may result from direct pressure. Regardless, your functioning nervous system is negatively impacted as is the functioning of the cells, tissues, and organs which are supplied by the affected nerves.
